Steun aan goede doelen

Voor slachtoffers van de aardbeving in november 2017 in Kermanshah in Koerdisch gebied in Iran steunden wij met de Syrië-werkgroep van de GROSH eind 2017 en begin 2018 een oproep van de Belgisch-Koerdische vereniging Hevi en de muziekgroep Nojin onder leiding van Akram Hamo. Zo konden wij 883 euro verzamelen. Dit bedrag werd op 13 maart 2018 door Hevi gestort aan de vereniging Cultuuri Zagros en van daar naar Chiai Sewz in Meriwan Koerdistan.

We ontvingen een ontvangstbewijs van 8 mei 2018 van de humanitaire vereniging Groene Berg in Iran.

Met de infoavond op 17 april met Rudi Vranckx en Willems Staes over Syrië steunden wij twee goede doelen: een humanitaire organisatie van vrouwen in Afrin en een niet-politieke medische hulporganisatie SAMS in Oost-Ghouta, in contact met 11.11.11. De ticketverkoop, de bar en vrije bijdragen brachten 1310,47 euro op. Aan elk van beide doelen konden wij dus 655,24 euro (of 762,74 dollar) overmaken. Dit gebeurde op 24 juni 2018. Van Sams kregen we reeds een bedanking (in het Engels).
